What a good Saturday

Even though the day started out slow; it was a good Saturday.

First, I was up at like 9:30am. So much for sleeping in for me. Greg and I were up late last night. Even baked cookies at 11pm! I don't know where the energy came from to bake cookies! In anyevent, I believe I fell asleep around 12:30am and Greg tended to Amelia for the night. I do recall waking up around 6:30 to her crying, but Greg took care of her. But, since I was up for good at 9:30, I let Greg sleep until 11am.

Amelia was not a nice baby this afternoon! She became so fussy, Greg and I considered taking her to Nighttime Pediatrics because of her crying. In the end, all her crying turned out to be some severe gas. Once she calmed down, she was making some interesting music!

Second, the weather was looking good this afternoon! It was sunny and the temp was pleasant. So, Greg and I decided to go to a park and we picked Downs Park in Pasadena. I've never been to this park before, so I was looking forward to going. Well, Greg and I arrived and the dark clouds were already rolling in. We decide to go to the pier and look around. It was cool that we could see the Bay Bridge from where we were. Greg took pictures, as did I except for some reason my camera won't allow me to upload. It was really windy at the pier and Amelia became fussy so we decided to leave. I believe we were in the park for about 20 minutes. Basically, we paid .20 a minute to visit the park (there is a $5 fee per car to go to the park). So, we leave the park and head down to Annapolis Mall...

Thirdly, the purpose for going to Annapolis Mall was to buy a new outfit with the store credit I had with Torrid. I found a nice jean skirt and a cute pink shirt. I don't know why I keep buying pink, I don't care for the color, but apparently it's the color for this season. Anyway, the store was a little busy, so I didn't try the clothes on. I purchase the two items and then Greg and I go to the food court to eat. After we ate, I went to the restroom to change into the new outfit and the skirt is too big! I even picked a size two sizes smaller than I used to buy and it was still too big. I thought about taking the skirt back, but Amelia was getting fussy again and we decided to leave.

So, here I am at 9:36pm writing my days events. What a great way to spend a Saturdy night. Although, I'm not really complaining, just sometimes I wish I had a more exciting life, or at least a more social life. I miss all my friends. Everyone has moved away. Daniel is coming up from FL this summer and I can't wait to see him. I so hope to go out and get drunk. It's been over a year since I last partied. I'm not much of a bar/club person, but I do enjoy the occassional party here and there. Maybe when greg and I find our place we'll hold a kick ass housewarming party.

The O's are actually winning 6 to 4! No thanks to a grande slam! I can't wait until Greg, Amelia and I go to a game this summer.
