Yeah, so I am totally not in the mood to work whatsoever.
Greg and I have been chatting back and forth about what we're going to do this weekend and about the condo. So far, this is the plan:
Saturday: Sleep in as late as possible. Then, at 3pm we meet the condo guy, sign the paper work, give some money and try to contain our excitment!
After that; no plan at all.
In the mean time, I've been money crunching with numbers. Since we're paying the pro-rated rent when we sign on Saturday (well, just under the total amount), we need the security deposit when we move in. Also, we still need to pay rent to his Mom, but it's only going to be half since we're moving out on the 17th of Aug. But, I also have to pay my cell phone, which is past due, and then my car payment and insurance before we move in. I think we're going to be able to make it. It helps that Mom is watching Amelia all of next week! Greg and I have got to do something nice for Mom.
But, other than that I haven't done much today. I did work, a little, on my projects (at least there isn't a 'due by' date on them) and I've already enrolled 10 new customers today (which a lot since we're so slow) and did the email thing with Denise and my Grandma. Oh, and to top it off, played some DD. I'm sure I'm not suppose to be playing this while at work, but my argument is how is it any different than reading or working on a puzzle book? I have the volume off and such, so it's not interrupting anyone and as soon as I get a call I put the DS down and focus my attention on the call. So, they can't say that the game is lowering my quality of call (especially since my score is averaging around 98%, which exceeds expectations).
Well, two more hours to go!

bbblllaaahhh
Ugh. What a day.
First, I called the auto repair shop to set up my drop off, then I call the car rental place to set up a pick up time. After the phone calls, I start the laundry because Mom is watching Amelia until the first weekend of Aug.!! Yay Mom!
So, I head out around 10:45am and I don't return until 7:15pm.
The estimate to repair my car is $3650.00!!!! Thank goodness for insurance, except my deductible is $500!!!! There goes my savings. bbbblllaaahhhh
Next step was to pick up my rental. When I arrived at the place, first they told me that they didn't have my reservation. The dude I spoke with misunderstood my last name, figures. Then, the car wasn't even ready and they asked me to come back later! WTF!! They told me it would be ready around noon, and I showed up at 12:15 and they didn't have it. Bbbblllllaaaahhhh
So, Sean and I went to Cactus Willies for lunch. Sean hasn't eatin since he moved out (why? because Greg and I did all the grocery shopping and cooking when we lived at the townhouse). Amelia was a hoot at the restaurant. She was chatting and shrieking and being very loud, but not in the screaming her head off way. She was such a good girl!
After lunch, Sean and I go back to the car rental place and the car is finally ready, though not the one I reserved! I am now driving an exciting Chevy Cobalt. Joy.
Now, it's 1:45 and I call Mom to let her know that I am now heading down to Waldorf. Traffic on 301 was notorious! bbbblllllaaaaahhhh So, I skipped 301 and got onto 214 and headed south on 95 to 5 and then back to 301. I made it to Waldorf a little after 3pm.
Met Mom at Burlington, then we headed to Chipolte (my first time there, as well as Mom's) for a lunch (though, we really went there because we both had to pee). The food was great, the wait wasn't and Amelia became angry and cried every time she saw Mom. Then, I fed her some carrots and she was happy again.
After Chiplote, we headed over to Kinko's so Mom could print some of her Vegas Extravaganza pictures (and make a cd so I can put them online for her). We were there for ever because the kiosk ran out of ribbon and paper and the Kinko's Guy didn't know how to replace it. bbbllllaaahhhhh
Finally, around 5:30, we part our ways. She heads south and I north. Traffic was ok up until Crofton. On the way home, I called Greg to see if he wanted to do anything for dinner and he said he wasn't hungry because he ate a late lunch. So, I asked him to order me a pizza and I'll pick it up. Well, I arrived before the pizza was ready, so I hung out for about 10 minutes at Greg's job. When I talked to Greg on the phone, he estimated that he would be done around 6:30, which was the time I would be in the area. But, even though his 'job; was done, he was still hanging out at the office collecting things for his Sim City game. Did he want to leave work? No. So, I became mad and left, which was at 6:45. I picked up my pizza and headed home. I stopped and got gas for the stupid gas hog and walked into the apartment at 7:15pm.
My day in a nut shell.
I am still feeling pissed at Greg for, lack of a better description of what I am feeling, choosing his game over coming home with me. It's now 7:50 as I type and he hasn't called nor is he home. He'll probably walk in the door and start playing Sim City and maybe say a few words to me, which is fine because I'm not feeling very sociable right now.

All Gone and Then Some
Today is payday.
And, my money is all gone.
Why?
I MADE MY FIRST CAR PAYMENT LAST NIGHT!
I am so adult right now, it's freaky.
After I made the car payment, I headed over to my credit card site to make their payment, but the system was down. Though, I did learn that they gave me a $100 credit increase! Hot damn!
Last night, I had an interesting chat with an old friend, Ed. Ed and I met in 2004. We met online and hung out on a simi-regular basis. I haven't seen Ed since June of 06, when he helped me clean my apartment before I moved to where I am leaving from this weekend. Ed and I did the "FWB" thing a few times, so all was good. I, at one point in time, did start to develop a 'crush' on Ed, but after I learned that he had feelings for another women (and has had feelings for her for over ten years), I knew that there wouldn't be anything more between us.
But, Ed wrote a few interesting things last night on Y! Messenger that has got me wondering; here are a few:
I said: Jessica (11:55 PM): yeah, I didn’t take it personally or anything. No hard feelings, I promise
Ed said: ********_evil (11:56 PM): I know- you’re so sweet, thats why I liked being with you
Hmm... he liked being with me? I knew we got a long pretty well, though we never went out; we just hung out in my apartment and chatted and 'whatnot'.
Then, he stated:
******_evil (12:09 AM): looks like you lost more weight in your pic- looking good!
Ed found me on MySpace, though never added me as friend (until last night), so who knows how long he's been checking me out. LOL
Then, in conclusion he wrote (as we were saying good night):
********_evil (12:31 AM): bye, Jess- LOVE YA!
Ok, from my past experience with guys, when it's the platonic 'love', they spell it as LUV, right? So, here we see Ed spelling it as LOVE...
I'm not reading into anything that isn't there (or I least I don't think it's there), don't get me wrong. But, I just thought it was interesting. Once Ed and I said our good byes, I went upstairs and told Greg about the conversation and he said that it sounded like Ed wants something that he can't have, being well aware that I am in a relationship. I guess that is possibly true, I don't know.
So, it was probably around midnight when I went to bed last night and I was some how awake and packing up my room by 7am. I was rudely awoken around 6:40 by my brother who was doing something with the hallway closet door.
Last night, Sean and I pretty much packed up the kitchen. We fought over the pots and pans because we both brought in a new set (I had received a nice set from my Grandma as a Christmas present and Sean said he bought a new set not too long before we moved in) when we moved. I stated one set was mine and he said it was his. Finally, I got the set that I stated as mine and he's taking the other set to Good Will and then he's going to buy his own new set. Then, we went through the dishes, which were all mine, except for a few bowls that he didn't want. We're donating a lot of things to Good Will, such as a dresser, entertainment unit, kitchen items and some of Amelia's clothes that are too small.
After the kitchen, I headed up stairs to start there as well, but ended up laying on the bed with Greg watching Hackers and playing DD (to which I later went down stairs once I realized that I had forgotten to make my credit card payment and then ended up talking with Ed for a about a half hour).
*Update*
I didn't quite finish the entry when I posted it. I became busy and didn't want to leave everyone hanging for something to read from me.
In any event, it's now the last hour of the work day (5:00pm est) and I've talked to Greg, Sean, and my Mom a few times. Greg is working at a different shop today and is hella bored and not motivated to work; he should be heading to the townhouse as I type. Sean, went to the Good Will and dropped off some items and then had to wait until 5 pm to even start moving items into his new place; in the meantime, he and Aaron took apart the couch (which is a huge sectional with a queen size sofa and a recliner all built in and weighs 12 tons, little exaggeration) and loaded that into the u-haul. Mom, when I last talked to her, was on her way to Sean's new place (though stuck in traffic in Crofton); to which I gave her general directions to.
In the meantime, I've been here, at work, answering so many phone calls since I am the only person in the queue. Yay.
I've been debating on whether or not to send an email to the condo guy to check on the status of our application, but I am too nervous because I fear another rejection. But, I am trying to be opptomistic and keep saying to myself "No news is good news", that is until I do get 'the news'. Greg seems to be handling this 'waiting' rather well, but he's more focused on the move than I am, or so it seems.
Mom's flight to Vegas leaves at like 6am tomorrow. She and her friends are renting a hotel room tonight so they can arrive to the airport at the same time. Mom is returning home on Tuesday, the 24th, at like 8pm. Greg and I have volunteered to pick Mom up from the airport (like he would pass on an opportunity to hang out at BWI)and take her to her car so she can head home. Then, on Wednesday, since I have the day off, I am going to take Amelia down to mom's so she can watch her and give Greg and I a break (of paying for the babysitter). I am very thankful that Mom hasn't gone back to work because without her help in watching Amelia, I have no idea what I would have done those few times we needed a babysitter.
I don't know what the full plan is tonight with where we're sleeping and what not. I believe, that I am going to spend the night at Greg's and start doing laundry and stuff, after we load up our cars and the truck, and then on Saturday go back to the townhouse to get the last of anything and finial cleaning. Ugh, this weekend might be hell. But, at least when Greg and I are ready to move out, as soon as we find a place, there won't be as much work. I hope.
Wish us luck that we're going to hear back from the condo guy and he's going to say "So, when do you three want to sign the lease and move in?"
And, my money is all gone.

Eh, Nothing to Say
After work and getting Amelia, I went to the post office to get a form to cancel my change of address request and then went to Safeway to buy baby spoons.
It was about 7:30 by the time I got home. And, no sooner than I get home comes in Greg with dinner! Aww, isn't he the greatest! He decided to come be with me; even though he wouldn't stay the night nor go upstairs to lay in bed with me and pet me. But, he did hang out with me and my brother for about two hours.
When it was time for Greg to leave, I walked outside to his car with him and we stood there chatting for about 15 minutes. We talked about our possibilities, such as moving to Churchton and living there rent free but commuting at least an hour each way to work; searching more aggressivly and cutting out a few requierments that we previously set (such as getting a one bedroom apartment instead of two and not looking for an apartment with a washer/dryer in it); and if we're unable to find something by August, I, along with Amelia, move in with Greg and his family. The only good thing about the last possibility is that the rent will be cheap, Greg's room is big enough for the three of us, and we're going to be saving money on gas. It's a plus, but not enough to make me completely happy. What would make me completely happy is to have a place to call home with Greg. That's all that I want right now.
This morning, on my way to work, I thought about what I could do with my paycheck. Since we're not moving in next week, I don't have to save for the first months rent and whatnot and my brother said that I don't have to pay rent for July. So, first I thought about buying a laptop. I've been wanting to buy a new computer for nearly two years now. And, I want a laptop. Greg has a nice computer that he bought last year, but it's not a laptop. But, I nixed that idea because it would be too costly. Then I thought about buying myself a digital camera; another item that I've been wanting to buy for a little under a year now. By the time I got to work, I had completely forgotten about my future camera purchase, and instead I went through all the bills that I can pay online and paid everything! I paid the BG&E bill, cell phone, credit card, cable, Greg's Dell account (prepaying for my future laptop!), babysitter, car and groceries. When I total the amount I just paid for all of the above, it comes to over a thousand dollars! So much for the camera. But, at least I paid off a few balances and brought a few accounts to current. So, in the end, it was probably best that I spent the money on bills rather than a camera. At least when Greg and I are able to finally move in togehter, everything will be current.
But, I so wanted to buy myself a new toy!
Eh. I'm still going to spend some money on me today or Saturday. Remember, I have a pool party that I am going to on Sunday!
It's been a while since I bought myself things. No, wait. Scratch that last statement; I bought myself a new purse on June 9th. Other than that, it's been a long while. Usually, I need my mom to get me clothes, otherwise I won't buy any. I feel guilty if I spend money on myself, even if it's something that I need.
I would love to treat myself to a nice eye waxing, since it's been over six months since I had my eyes done, and maybe get my nails done or something. I've never had a pedicure before; I'm weird about my feet and strangers touching them. Sometimes I wish I was more girly and cared about my hair, wore make-up, and did all the girly things; but, then again, I can see the benefits of not being so girly, mainly not spending all my money. I guess you could say that I am a simple girl that likes to live a simple life. Damn curious to see how Amelia is going to be when she gets older!
I received and email from my good friend, Daniel, informing me that he's coming up next weekend! I'm so excited to see Daniel. Last time I saw him was in September. That was an interesting night, to say the least. I believe I was one of two straight people for a gay birthday party! But, I did have a lot of fun.
I've been working on this blog for over six hours! It's been pretty slow today, so I read the newspaper (specifically about the O's and searching for a place to rent), chatted with the manager a bit, did some actual work, was told a secret about the company and what they are changing (which will be shared with everyone else next Thursday or Friday), talked to my Mom on the phone, did a short text messaging chat with Melissa, and so much more!
In any event, I am done. I am sleepy, and there are 17 minutes left for the work day.

We got's our Uhaul. From approx. 6:30pm on Wed 27th to 10:30AM on Friday 29th. 17 foot truck. More than enough Space.
So, I finally got a hold of my insurance agent to talk about my new premium and how much it's going to cost me. It looks like my normal payment of $84.75 will be deducted this month from my checking account and then on July 15th, they are taking $264.75 as a down payment for my new policy, but there isn't any information about how much my installments are going to be. I've tried calling the actual insurance company to get that information but their systems are down and they suggested I call back after 1pm. Crossing my fingers that it's going to be reasonable.
After work, Amelia and I went to visit Greg at his job. The weather was so nice! We stood outside the entire time. Amelia sat in the car and just talked away, and even laughed! I'm so excited that she's begun to laugh like a real baby. I can't wait to get a recording. And, she ended up falling asleep around 7:30. Greg and I talked a little more about his concern and I reassured him that we're going to be fine, and we talked about money. They say money can ruin any relationship and I believe it. So, we talked about what we would pay for out of the joint account and what we would use our separate accounts for. Basically, everything that we're going to share is going into the joint account and the separate accounts for things that we want to buy for ourselves, such as clothes, games, movies, etc. I told my Mom what Greg and I are planning and she sounds a little hesitant and her excuse was "I guess I watch too much Judge Judy", silly Momma. Also, Mom has been on this Opera kick. Every time I talk to her (almost daily) she tells me what she saw on Opera and yesterday it was about poop and pee and other body excretions; Mom said it was a great show. Hmm. Greg and I also talked about the car payments. My idea was to round up the payments to a whole amount, for example: Greg's payment is currently $385 and mine is $278. I was thinking of rounding the payments to $400 and $300. Well, Greg has a little more than a year left on his car note, so he thinks it would be best to pay my minimum and put extra to his payment to pay it off earlier than scheduled. Then, we can out his car payment and my payment together to pay off my car earlier than the six years that is set up. Shit, if we could pay my car note at $700 a month, the car wold be paid off in two years!
I am thinking that I need to start a hobby or something. Work is going to be slow this summer, as I've been told, and I don't want to just sit at my desk staring at a screen. I am thinking that I could go back to knitting, although I threw away all my supplies when I moved last summer. I could learn scrap-booking, but I don't know how well I am going to be able to keep up with the details and what not. I could go buy a baby book for Amelia and put that together and record her first year and such (even though I am 5 months behind. LOL), but, if I am truly honest with the things Greg and I talked about when we learned that I was pregnant with her I wouldn't want to share it, yet I don't want to lie about it either. So, I am torn about the baby book.
Wow!! I totally feel like gossipping but I can't!! I so want to say so much about something but I can't!! Well, at least I can write about the juicy gossip at my 'secret garden'. Oh, if people could only see what's in my 'secret garden'! Maybe one day in the future.

Shop, Spend, and Enjoy
Greg and I did so much today!!
Once we were up and showered and dressed, we went to Wachovia to get a money order. I decided to pay the rest of the security deposit since I had the money available. Sean and Aaron went with us to do the same. Ugh, I will never get another money order from the bank. They charged me $5 for a piece of paper!
So, once we got the money order, we went to the Pontiac to get the tag off and after that Sean and Aaron headed to the rental complex and Greg and I headed to the MVA Express in Columbia to turn in my tag. Greg and I had a small argument on the way to the MVA. We're over it now. He just didn't agree on my parking when we stopped to get the tag off the Pontiac. So, once we arrived at the MVA Express, the line was practically out the door! But, there was no line for the tag drop-off station!! And the reason why was because it was closed. Bastards! So, I had to drop off the tag in their drop box. I really didn't want to do that because I wanted my receipt to fax to my insurance agent and get the Pontiac off ASAP. Meh, I'll just wait until I get the letter in the mail.
Once we were done at the MVA Express, we headed over to the rental complex to give them the rest of the security deposit. And, to our surprise, Sean and Aaron were still there! So, we finished our business at the same time and decide to head over to Bennigan's for lunch. For the four of us, food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages, the total was $82! I was expecting over $100. I treated everyone to lunch and Sean paid the tip. While there, Amelia was the main attraction from all the female servers.
After lunch, we all headed over to Target to do a little window shopping for our up coming move. Plus, we wanted to get a teething ring for Amelia. She is growing her first tooth! We can see the little white spot on her lower gum line! Yeah, I ended u spending $110. I bought Greg his Father's Day present, a ice tea maker. Something that he's been looking for for a while. We also picked up more nooks for Amelia, salt and pepper mills, cards for Greg and Van, soda's, Reisen candies (for work) and other things that I can't think of at the moment (it's 9:00pm as I write). After Target, we went to Giant to pick up formula but they didn't have enough (I use WIC), but we picked up other items (cereal, cheese, milk, juice) with my WIC checks as well as a few other items, like watermelon! I can't wait to try the watermelon tomorrow.
Once we made it home, Greg put the stuff away while I played with Amelia. She's extremely talkative now a days. Earlier this morning, Greg recorded Amelia's babble and later I am going to post it on YouTube and put it on here for all to listen. Her talks are so adorable.
Amelia fell asleep around 6:45. She only ate 2.5 bottles today. That's not much, compared to her normal consumption. But, I think she has the same eating habit as me; little, if any, appetite when it's hot outside.
Once Amelia was asleep, Greg and I layed in bed and talked about the future and past, as well as the concern on his mind. I can't write about his concern because it's personal, at least on here. But, it could have a huge impact on our life and where we can live. His concern isn't going to make me not want to live or marry him, I know the truth of what happend. In due time, everything will be over.

Feeling Pretty Good
I received my second pay check today! My bank account has never had this much money in it before and it feels so damn good! I took a screen shot of the account and plan on saving it because I know I will never see this amount again. Sad, yes, but that's life.
I've changed my exemptions from 1 to 4! This will allow me to get more money with each pay check to help pay the car payment and insurance. Since I've gone half of 2007 with only one exemption, I am still expecting a huge tax refund next year.
Ugh, it's so freaking hot in the office today. What sucks about this complex is that the heat/ac isn't individually controlled, meaning that one unit and temperature is for the ENTIRE BUILDING! Who the hell designed this set-up? Anyway, I'm miserable and cranky because I am starting to perspire at my seat. We've already turned off the lights and closed all the blinds in our room and it's still freaking hot.
This morning, Sean went over the April and Brian's, our babysitter, to fix their a/c unit. Sean is only doing this because of Amelia; he doesn't want his niece suffering in the Maryland heat. Sean is so kinda, he's not even charging them to fix their unit! And, from what Sean tells me, it would normally cost them about $800. I told him he should at least bill them for something, especially since he's missing work to fix their unit. Sean doesn't want to impose on them for money. So, I am thinking that once Greg and I are set at the townhouse at the end of the month, we are going to buy him something nice with our referral money. Maybe. I haven't talked to Greg about this.
Greg and I are also talking about finding a new babysitter/daycare provider. It upsets us that April doesn't really do much with Amelia, especially with Amelia in her most important developmental phase of life. As far as I know, Amelia sits in front of the TV when she's with them. I honestly don't know if she actually plays with Amelia or not, but when I drop her off in the morning, she puts her in front of the TV or fish tank and when I pick her up in the evening, she's in front of the TV. Occasionally, they will be outside when the weather is nice.
This morning, I talked to my insurance agent about the Nissan. Of course, my premium went up. For the month of June, it went up $201 making my payment $285. My policy renews in July and the annual premium for both cars would be $175 a month with full coverage. Not as bad as I was expecting. But, I still need to get the Pontiac off the policy and I can't do that until I turn my tag in. I called Greg this morning letting him know and he actually became upset about the 'rules' (meaning that I have to turn the tag in before I can remove the car from my insurance). You see, Greg has USAA for his car insurance. USAA is military insurance and isn't available to anyone unless you 1. marry a covered person, or 2. are the offspring of someone that was in or currently is in the service and since Greg's dad was in the National Guard, he is eligiable for USAA. When I spoke to Greg about my insurance rate he said something along the lines of "we really have to get married soon for all the financial benefits". I was like, "What?!" and told him that I will not marry him for money and I don't want him to only marry me for money. LOL, it was a funny moment. Greg and I are pretty sure we're going to marry each other and spend the rest of our lives together. He, and I agree with him, just wants to wait until we've moved in together to make sure we can tolerate each other. But, I have a gut feeling that all is going to go well and that a year from now, I will be engaged to Greg. We just need to wait and see.

*~_*~_*~_*~_ and all that jazz_~*_~*_~*_~*
I've been seriously thinking about financing a car. I've never financed a car before and this thought is probably one of the most scariest things for me. Financing a car is such a huge commitment to me. It's hard to explain why financing a car is so frightful to me. I just don't like the thought of something so valuable and needed to be taken away from me; also, I'm not too keen on having to choose car payment, rent, or food if ever there comes a time that I only have enough money for one.
I did speak to a dealership last night, and even thought about stopping by on my way home. When I spoke with the sales guy, I told him up front that my credit score isn't the best and that I don't have much for a down payment and he told me that they have approved people with less. That was a little encouraging. Now, there are two reasons why I didn't stop on my way home: 1. I really don't want to go alone. and 2. I really had to pee by the time I made it to the exit. Traffic was a bitch last night on Rt. 100 E.
After talking to the dealership, I tried to call my Mom to tell her what I was thinking about with the car, but their phone is temporarily disconnected. Perfect timing.
Last night was uneventful. I didn't watch much tv and was asleep around 10pm. Greg called me at 11:30, I tried to wake up for him but I couldn't, so we chatted for only a few moments. I did call him this morning at 7:30 to make sure he was up and showered.
Yesterday, my Grandma sent me an email letting me know that she sent me a card with a little 'encouragement' to help me with my crisis. Aren't Grandmas the best?

Manic Monday
Ugh, so much stress in my life right now!
Mainly, I am stressing about the car repair bill and making sure that Greg and I are going to have enough money to move in at the end of the month. I hope to find out soon.
This morning I called AA America to notify them that I am having my car towed to another garage. I paid the $80 they charged for 'looking' at the Pontiac. I called the place that worked on my breaks to see if they do other types of service and they don't. So, when I asked if they could recommend a repair shop, and they did. I called the other shop and told them what's going on. They said they would be more than willing to look at my car without a deposit! LOL And, they will go get the car. I am so scared to hear what's wrong with the car and how much it's going to cost.
Greg called me twise yesterday after the inital conversation. I didn't answer the phone. I did call him back before 5pm and I was still mad at him. I called him a little after 11pm and we talked for about a half hour. I wasn't as mad by then, but I was still not over it. Today, I am pretty much over it. There is too much going on to dwell on what happened yesterday. Besides, Greg is coming over tonight and I plan on taking full advantage of him. So, he's going to attend to Amelia and I am going to start going through my old clothes, Amelia's clothes and other items. I really want to start packing and throwing things away. I don't want to repeat what I did last year when I moved (which was pretty much pack the day of the move). At least I am not pregnant this time (even though I didn't know I was pregnant when I moved last year).
Here's a post I wrote on July 3, 2006:
I hate moving...
When it comes to moving, I'd rather do the clean up and unpacking than pack the shit and move it and then unload it... which is pretty much all that I did yesterday. Greg and Sean did A LOT of the work, but I did help... some... I stayed out of their way when they were unloading the truck and put most of the stuff away at night.
But, what a stressful day that was! At 8am, Sean calls me and tells me that he can't find his wallet which means he can't get the uhual, which means I'm stuck. So, I call mom and tell what happened and she was mad, a little, and said that she would pay for the truck since I was offering to pay, even though I have about $90 left in my account to last me two weeks. So, then I call Greg to let him know what was going on since he was suppost to come over around 9:30 to start helping and Greg offeres to help pay for the truck as well (and I told him that I would pay him back when I get the money from mom). I was so thankful of Greg's gesture to help that I bought him a thank you card when I went to wal-mart. But, as I was leaving wal-mart and heading to the uhual place, Sean calls and tells me that he has found his wallet (even though we cancelled the order. But, he was able to get a truck anyway, and he arrived around noon and we had loaded up must of everthing thing by 3 and we were leaving the apartment at 3:20 and we had unloaded everything by 4:30 at the townhouse and then Sean was on his way to his place to pack and stuff. So, I spent the first night at the new place all alone. I didn't get to sleep until 2am and then I was up and dressed and ready to leave at 6:30. I am going to sleep well tonight. Also, I am going to be working from open to close at the clinic, so I will be exhausted when I get home. But, I have off tomorrow and Greg and I are going to Oregon Ridge to see the BSO and fireworks. I've never been there before and have always wanted to go when Adam and I were together... but never did. Oh, it was funny... Sean and I were talking about something in the old kitchen and I accidentally called him Adam and Greg was like... what did you call him? so, that was kinda funny.
Greg is very excited that we've finally found a place to call ours. We can start our family. Plus, he loves, just as much as I do, to go shopping for home accessories. On Saturday, we were talking about things we need and drawing on the floor plans where to put our furniture. One thing we might not agree on, right now, is where to place his computer; he wants to put it in our bedroom. I say no and that there is plenty of room downstairs. We shall see how this goes in a few weeks.

Mindless Ramblings
It's Tuesday. I am back at work. This feels weird.
As much as I anticipated returning to work, I wasn't expecting the mind numbing slowness. Granted, this morning started off with a kick and some very argumentative people, but for the last hour or so, it's been pretty slow.
Meh.
I was late for work partly due to babysitter not answering her door when I was knocking. I swear I knocked on her door for nearly five minutes with no response. It really aggravates me when they don't hear me. I think they should invest in a door bell or something. The only good thing is that this week is a short week for babysitting needs and I will only need to pay $84. Yippie!
It feels good to be on a regular pay schedule again. Those three weeks without any money was rough! My acct ended going into the negative anyway. I was so close! But, at least my bank credits one over draft fee every 12 months, but I have to call and ask for them to do so; which I'll probably do on my lunch break.
I was reading an article online about relationships and whether weight affects a relationship. Personally speaking, I don't feel that weight loss or gain affects how a person feels for you or how you feel for them. When I met Adam, I weighed the same as I do now. During our 7 year relationship, I gained 100 pounds and he didn't say anything about it and it wasn't the cause of our divorce. Today, I weigh 100+ pounds less. I've lost weight since meeting Greg and it hasn't effected our relationship one bit either. Greg outweighs me by 110 pounds and I don't care. If he gains more weight it won't change my feelings for him and I know he feels the same for me. Now, Greg doesn't want me to loose too much weight and be like a size 5 and weigh 125 pounds because he's afraid that I would leave him for someone else, which I would never do. Besides, I don't want to weigh 125 pounds. I am happy with my current size and weight. If the weight continues to come off, so be it. I'm not actively trying to loose weight, which makes me wonder if my thyroid is acting up again. During my pregnancy, I learned that my thyroid was over active which is probably why I didn't gain any weight (which is another reason I didn't suspect that I could be pregnant) and once Amelia was born, I lost an additional 60 pounds. I haven't been to my doctors since my pneumonia and my 6 week post-delivery check-up. Once I get my new health insurance coverage, I plan on making an appointment for a complete check-up including blood work; which I hate. Even after all that I went through this past January, I still hate needles and shots. I still don't know how I was able to give myself insulin shots for that whole month of December! I actually have scars on my arm from the needles from when I was in the hospital last. On that visit, they gave me a 16 gage needle for an IV. The lower the number, the bigger the needle. 16 gage was HUGE! And, they stuck me twice because the vein collapsed on the first attempted (Gee, I wonder why; huge needle, low blood pressure, large loss of fluids... duh!) Thankfully, a different nurse did the needle on the second try and it was no where near as painful. I thanked her.
Sometimes, I still can't believe I went through all that I did in January. Yesterday, as Greg was playing with Amelia, a thought came over me: Another family could be doing the same things with her if we had gone through with putting her up for adoption. Another family would be enjoying her smiles, babbles, shreiks and shrills. But, Greg and I are the ones enjoying this. It was weird to think about that and what our life would be like without Amelia. Greg told me, earlier this month when I asked him, that he would feel guilty if we had gone through with the adoption. I've also asked him if we would still be friends if we went through with the adoption and he thinks we would. He does feel that if he we had gone through the adoption, there might have been some strain on the friendship but he thinks we would be able to support each other and get through it. I've also asked him if he would ever tell me about his feelings for me if we hadn't had Amelia and he said yes, eventually. I constantly tease him about his feelings for me. I knew he had developed them and tried to get him to tell me but he was ignoring what his heart was telling him. The teasing is all in good nature and he knows this.
I had a weird dream this morning and it made me feel guilty. It wasn't a sex dream or anything, but more of a dream about me growing feelings for another person. the dream involved Greg and I looking for a place to live (as we are currently). An old friend of mine was living in this huge townhouse and told me that there was more than enough room for us to move in. So, I met the owner of the townhouse and he and I hit it off. There were sparks flying and everything. While this guy was showing me around, he started to hold my hand and I let him. Then, we walked outside and we went behind the townhouse, sat down and began to chat. He knew I had a boyfriend, he even talked and asked questions about him. Yet, he kept holding my hand and began to lean in to kiss me when Greg appeared around the corner on a moped like bike and I could see the frustration on this other guys face. It was so weird! And, when I awoke, I had this guilty feeling in my stomach. I told Greg about the dream and he just laughed. But, the dream makes me wonder if that is something that will happen in the future and I wonder how I would react if something simular were to occur.
The hand holding in the dream, I believe was due to the hand holding Greg and I did at the carnival. Greg and I don't hold hands very often in public. We usually hold hands at night while we're sleeping or if we're at the movie theaters. But, last night Greg would reached for my hand and held it so softly. It was very romantic for me. Especially since he was making the inital contact. Sometimes, while Greg and I are at a store or what not, I will go for his hand, but not very often. Usually, I just rub or run my fingers dow his back or play with his butt, which annoys him but I continue to do it anyway.
Have I mentioned how much I love my Flickr Pro account? I love Flickr to begin with! I check it constantly throughout the day to see how many views my pictures have received. At last look, I was at 621 views for 469 photos. Someone even marked one of my airshow photos as a favorite! So cool!
